No phone carrier outside the US, Canada and the UK supports direct mobile upload from your mobile phone to Facebook :( Does it have anything to do with the geography of use of social networks in the world?

I have to change phone carrier (From TDC to Telia) if I want an iPhone in Denmark. These are not vital to me really but it gives a glimpse of the powers at play.
